Inspired by iconic guitarist Joe Satriani, the design featured a sleek red Ibanez guitar against a dark, electric blue background, symbolizing innovation and excitement. The visuals emphasized the guitar as a tool for creativity in the tech-savvy world, encouraging gamers and digital creators to embrace music. Through bold imagery and strategic layouts, the campaign anchored attention, connecting the brain’s circuitry with the guitar’s electrifying potential. Deliverables included platform-optimized assets for social media, web, and print, making Ibanez the cool choice for the next generation.

Client and Project Background:
he Client is looking for an add to harmonize their product with the latest technology catching the attention of a broader target demographic stimulating brand awareness and market inspiration.
Design Brief:
(The Problem). What makes a person discover the guitar? Why the electric guitar? Create a visual answer that captures an audience outside the company’s current position.
Eye catching new approach- social media add and website asset
Research and Inspiration:
There are many guitar hero’s out there and this add is designed for conversion to the real thing. Playing the video game is more prevalent than watching a guitar being played on stage to create the desire and draw of the instrument. The guitar has been available for many years so why now? AI is an Infant right now and it needs a role model, be a real hero and teach AI how to be cool, get an Ibanez. Bring the guitar into the tech field, that mouse hand needs a stretch.
Inspiration is Joe Satriani an accomplished guitarist and a user of Ibanez. Joe has a good web presence and extreme skills.
Original music is required for video games, advertising etc. Make some.
AI wants the best to be the best. Give it some.
Interviewed two musicians discussing instruments used and skills desired for music score production. AI was a hot topic as well as self recording and adapting music.
Concept Development:
Concept was developed from multiple resources in the music field, electronics, intelligence and performance. A smooth classic style guitar in RED was selected. Easily recognized shape and glossy deep color to give a smooth and cool touch to create a desire to feel. Strong attention and emotion promoting color (Anchoring). Darker background for contrast and blue hues to demonstrate COOL as in the tagline and to create a feel of electricity that is generated by creation and learning (excitement and trust). 1/3rds maximized and company logo integrated into design. The brain is clearly absorbing and is enlightened by the circuits, the guitar is intended to be associated with a digital generation (electric guitar)
Challenges:
The challenge was creating a visual attraction and anchor to engage and create a recall. The solution was Loud Imagery- The way the player may want the music. Prominence
Final Deliverables/Solution(s):
Digital add was created to be used on website and in social media campaigns. Digital files amended for platform sizing and CMYK file for print provided.
Conclusion:
Making the connection between the brain, circuit board and guitar can make a person feel validated to try something new. Keyboard Warriors, pick up an Ibanez it only has six keys-easy right?
